(Leonhard) White, 86, of Huron, passed away early Friday morning, June 28, 2024, at her home after a brief illness.She was born July 24, 1937, in Sandusky, the daughter of John Edward and Henrietta "Louise" (Kromer) Leonhard. She was a 1955 graduate of Sandusky High School and throughout the years would hold monthly get togethers with her classmates, known as "The Girls Club." Shirley was a homemaker and worked for many years at Savings Building and Loan in downtown Sandusky.Over the years, Shirley loved spending time with her family and the grandchildren and enjoyed reading, decorative painting, and spending time on the beach, especially at her home on the chaussee on Cedar Point.Shirley was a life-long member of Columbus Avenue United Methodist Church (now known as Christ Community Church) where she taught for some time an adult Bible Study class.
