Robert James KreimesApr 3, 1946 - Jun 30, 2024SanduskyRobert James "Bob" Kreimes, 78, of Sandusky, passed away Sunday, June 30, 2024, at Ohio Veterans Home, Sandusky.He was born April 3, 1946, in Sandusky, to Donald and Evelyn (Merriam) Kreimes. Bob graduated from Sandusky High School in 1964. After graduating from high school, he joined the military where he served in U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He then went to Bowling Green State University on the GI Bill, earning his bachelor's degree, and then student taught at Perkins Public Schools.He came back to the family business of Kreimes Cardinal Grocery in Sandusky.Bob loved to be in nature with the animals, golfing, bowling, spending time in the store, and with his family.He is survived by his wife, Sylvia (Wieber) Kreimes, to whom he was married 44 years; daughters, Tammy June Kreimes and Michelle Marie (Kreimes) Schmidt; grandchildren, Madison, Shawn, Donovan "Reed," and Mia; sisters, Dianne (Charles) Castle and Cheryl "Cher" (C
