Claudette moved to New London at a young age and spent most of her life there.Claudette enjoyed tending her flower gardens and spending time outdoors in nature. She would spend peaceful afternoons watching the birds at her feeders. She also enjoyed taking camping trips with family as well as playing cards. Most of all, Claudette cherished time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.Claudette's survivors include her children, Denise (Steve) Ball of New London, Martin (Cindy) Shepherd of Greenwich, Rose (Chris) Kern of Norwalk, Elliot Shepherd of Clarksfield, Desmond (Angela) Shepherd of Fitchville, Amber (Phillip) Daniels of Norwalk, Jessica (Gheorghe) Gureu of New London, and Charity (Eric) Case of New London;
