George "Butch" Howard Allendorf, 76, residing in Sandusky, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, February 23, 2025 surrounded by his family after a brief illness.
Butch was born on January 9, 1949 in Sandusky, OH to the late William "Bill" and Patricia "Pat" (Waldock) Allendorf.
Butch was a 1967 graduate of Huron High School and went on to earn his bachelor's degree in Agriculture from The Ohio State University. Butch was the owner and president of his family's business, Sandusky Dressed Beef, for many years before retiring after a successful career with Hansen-Mueller Company. He was a proud member of Delta Tau Delta Fraternity during college and remained active in various organizations throughout his life, including the Sandusky Yacht Club, the Sandusky Sailing Club, and the Royal Palm Country Club in Naples, FL.
